  • Imagine that someone put your brain in a jar, and hooked you up to a special computer that made you think you still had a body.  In your brain, you could still smell and taste your favourite foods, play your favourite sports, listen to your favourite music, and watch your favourite television shows.  The computer could even make it seem as if you never had to go to school, do homework, do chores, or anything else you didn't like.  Would you be okay with this, or would you rather stick to your every day life, and keep your body?  Why?

  • A lot of people in the world never eat meat.  Some think it's bad for their health, some think it's bad for nature and some think it's bad for animals.  Do you agree or disagree?  Why?  Do you think it's also wrong to eat vegetables and fruits?  How about milk products or bread, rice and cereal?  Why?

  • Is it wrong to keep a secret?  What if telling someone this secret would hurt their feelings, or make them do something harmful?  When is it okay to keep things to yourself, and when is it not okay?  What kinds of secrets should you keep?  Why is it okay or not okay?

  • What's the difference between being asleep and being awake?  How do you know that everything you see and hear isn't a dream?  What tells you that you've woken up, and that things are really there?
